Murder On The Orient Express- by Agatha Christie
Murder On The Orient Express- by Agatha Christie
Reading my first Agatha Christie novel was an exhilarating experience, as I have always been fond of detective and crime writings. Knowing that she holds the title of "Queen of Crime" heightened my excitement even more. The mystery in the novel was captivating, and as the murder case approached its climax, the suspense was almost unbearable. The realistic and immersive atmosphere kept me breathless as the plot unfolded, leading to an unexpected ending.
The use of French phrases added to the novel's authenticity, giving it a more realistic feel. However, it might be challenging for readers who are not familiar with the language. Despite this, the twist at the end was a testament to Christie's genius and made the novel a true masterpiece.
I would recommend this novel to those starting their reading journey, as it offers an excellent introduction to detective fiction. However, I found the ending slightly anticlimactic, falling short of my high expectations from such a renowned author. Despite this, I couldn't help but become an Agatha Christie fan, appreciating her ability to craft intricate and compelling mysteries.
